In response to recent COVID-19 concerns, we want to assure our patients that we are taking appropriate precautions. Our established patients are currently being offered virtual visits.

At Reeder Psychiatry we strive to give compassionate, professional, and excellent care by evaluating and testing each patient and then developing individualized treatment plans with medication, when needed and appropriate, as well as providing connection to therapy and other services.

As a physician, Dr. Reeder has a passion for the health and healing of the whole person. As a psychiatric physician, she focuses on mental health without losing sight of physical, spiritual, and social health issues.

Meet Christina Reeder, MD

Dr. Reeder did her Medical Education at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. She worked as a general physician in the Netherlands with certification in Addiction Medicine. She was the treatment coordinator at the Jellinek Addiction Clinic in Amsterdam.

After moving to the US, Dr. Reeder did her psychiatric residency training at the Griffin Memorial Hospital Psychiatry Residency Training Program in Norman, OK. She was the chief resident in her last year of residency training.

After her residency, she continued to work for the State of Oklahoma, serving for over 5 years as Medical Director at the Oklahoma City Recovery Center (OCRU), where acute psychiatric care is offered.

Dr. Reeder was a volunteer professor with the OU Psychiatry Residency Program from 2015-2020 and supervised psychiatric residents from both the OU and GMH Psychiatry Residency programs for their emergency psychiatry requirements.

She also supervised OU medical students who did part of their third year Psychiatry clerkship at OCRU.  For this, she was awarded the 2018-2019 Outstanding Faculty Award.

Dr. Reeder retired from the State in 2020 to fully focus on her private practice, Reeder Psychiatry, PLLC.

Now, besides her private practice, Dr. Reeder also works as the medical director for the state at the Northwest Center for Behavioral Health.
